Sweater | Skirt (and here) | Shoes | Handbag (similar option here and here) | Sunglasses (dupes) Necklace
I love wearing tweed pieces in the winter. This skirt caught my eye with not only the colors and pattern, but the asymmetrical ruffle hem, too. It looks so classic to me. I paired it with a simple black sweater and it also looks pretty with a pale pink top. It fits true to size (I’m wearing size 0). I hinted on social media a few weeks about about the Christmas gift Caleb bought for me when he took me shopping. I wore it with this outfit and think it’s the perfect classic accessory.
Our 2019 ended (and our 2020 began) with a family ski trip to Utah. This was out fourth annual ski trip for our family and it just gets better and better each year. Savannah and Hudson both improved, while Maddox attended ski school for the first time. Well, he went for about1 hour last year before calling it quits for the week. This year though, he loved every minute of it. We peeked on him a few times and he was smiling from ear to ear, doing SO good skiing. I am super proud of him. Cora got to hang out in childcare, but they took her out in the snow to play and even on a gondola ride each day. When I picked her up every afternoon, she would always say, “I had so much fun at my class.”
The big kids started back to school Monday and Maddox went back today. I’m really hoping that this year allows for more time to dedicate to the blog, and actually posting here more frequently. I often remind myself that my first “job” and top priority is motherhood (x4), which keeps me on-the-go a lot. Regardless of how this blog grows (or doesn’t) this year, I enjoy having the little space and sharing pieces of my life, and style, with you. So thank you for being here! I’m so thankful for your support.
I pray that your 2019 year wrapped up well and that 2020 has great things in store for you.
