The neutral and pastels colors, plus stripes, of this top caught my eye when I was searching for new spring pieces. This brand runs a little big, so I typically size down, as I did here. I’m wearing an xs, but the top itself is meant to be over-sized and it is so soft! It’s really comfortable and is longer in the back. A great piece for everyday wear or add some heels for a cute, but casual night out.
It feels like it has been forever since I have had a chance to take photos for the blog and share an outfit post. The bi-polar Texas weather finally gave us a pretty day when my husband/photographer was available to take photos. I am so ready for the spring weather to be here to stay. My kids are on spring break this week and we don’t have any big plans. We talked about going out of town for a few days, but the thought of packing and a hotel/cabin stay with all the kids was kinda stressing me out. So we scratched the idea altogether…and now I kinda regret it. I’m in need of a change in scenery and pace of life. I love going on vacation with my family, but it’s a lot of work and I just wasn’t feeling up to it for this week.
Not having a schedule this week is really nice though. No alarm clocks. No afternoon/evening homework. No daily schedule. No taxi-driving the kids to all the things. We are just taking it easy and enjoying a few fun things locally. But I am counting down the days until we go on our annual summer family vacation, to a beach…which we haven’t even booked yet.
