Let me introduce my little family to you! I could go on and on about each one, but I’ll keep it short. My husband, Caleb, and I met in junior college (that’s another story in itself!) in 2002 and married in 2005. We have been through our fair-share of trials over our 11.5 years marriage, but through each one we have learned more about ourselves and each other, grown closer to God, and learned how to love better. He loves to hunt, while I love to shop. He is truly my better half and loves me so well! He is the best daddy, a driven person, and we love him so.
Savannah, 7, is in second grade. She is a girly-girl, sharing my love for clothes and shoes. She has a tender heart, a gentle spirit, and is such a big helper! Hudson, 5, is in kindergarten and 100% boy. He is busy, he is loud, and he is always making us laugh! He loves to be barefoot and outside and playing with Legos. Maddox, 2, is trying so hard to keep up with his older siblings. He can be so stubborn at times, but is also the sweetest, silliest, little boy. He loves Mickey Mouse, farm everything, and emergency vehicles.
These are my people. They are my world and I love them with all of my heart!
I LOVE family pictures. We typically do our annual family photos in the fall and use them for our Christmas cards. Occasionally, we manage to do semi-annual family photos by adding in a spring session, too. Choosing outfits to co-ordinate five people is no easy task and I change my mind multiple times in the process. I usually decide on mine or my daughter’s outfit first, and then work everyone else around that. I also love doing different color schemes each year. The color scheme this year and the photos in general are most certainly among my favorites! Regardless of what outfits we wear or what location we do photos at, the greatest challenge is always getting all eyes looking at the camera with smiling faces. With kids who easily tire of posing and smiling, plus a toddler who would rather run around playing, that’s where a great photographer really comes into play! We have always loved the photos we have taken by Michael’s Photography and it never fails that we have way more great photos to choose from than we would have guessed.
