This simple, yet feminine dress, has the prettiest lace and is so flattering.

I wore this dress on vacation in the Dominican Republic last week. It was such a pretty dress for the beach resort. The fit is just right with the fitted bodice and skirt with so much movement. It is lined to the knees and I loved the see-through, airy look and feel of the bottom. The scalloped hem line is such a pretty touch.
This dress is available in regular and petite sizing. I tried on both and kept the regular size one. I’m 5′ 2″ and the petite one was a couple of inches too short when I tried it on with flat sandals. I’m wearing my usual size 0 {regular} in this dress.

Cora turned 11 months old today and hit a very big milestone this past month…
Eating: She is continuing with raw goat’s milk and has 4 eight ounce bottles a day. Baby-led weaning is the best thing ever. She eats so well, on her own, and will taste anything you offer. When we were on vacation, she loved having so many new food options at every meal.
Sleeping: Naps are anywhere from 1.5 – 2.5 hours, twice a day. Bedtime is between 8:00 and 8:30 and she wakes between 7:00 and 8:00 in the morning. Like all of our other babies, she will lay happily and quietly in her bed until we come to get her. That is one of the best things we have ever had our babies do.
Stats: Weighing in at 20 pounds, 12 ounces this month, she still wears size 9-12 month clothing.
Milestones: WALKING! She took her first, unassisted steps just one day after turning 10 months old. I was loading the dishwasher after dinner one evening when she started bear-crawling right towards me. Then, she stood herself up and took not one, but FOUR steps towards me. I was so shocked! While we were on vacation, she decided it was time to give up crawling. She is so cute to watch walking around and trying to keep up with her big siblings.
Okay, other milestones… she waves ‘bye-bye’ intentionally when you ask her to. She nods her head ‘yes’ and ‘no’. It’s clear she’s starting to understand some of the things we are saying. She took her 3rd trip on a plane this past month and her first venture outside of the US. She loves books and thinks her oldest brother, Hudson, is the funniest person ever!
I just love watching her learn, explore, and grow {but not too fast, please}. She continues to be the easiest and happiest baby, ever. People who are around her for an extended amount of time, always comment on how good and happy she is.
Happy 11 months, Cora Rose. I love you so much! xoxo
