Dress: Socialite | Heels: Kristin Cavallari | Handbag: Prada | Sunglasses: (old) similar | Watch: Daniel Wellington
I love the simplicity of this dress with the pop of detail in the sleeves. The soft knit material along with the shift dress style make this dress extra comfortable. Add a fun statement necklace to dress it up for date night or keep it simple for daytime wear.
It has taken me a bit longer to get into a new routine and figure out this whole mother-of-four thing. Who am I kidding… will I ever really have it figured out? Ha! Just about the time I think I do, one (or more) start a new phase, especially during these infant years. The routine is still a work in progress, too. Thankfully we are easing our way into that. Maddox started back to school two weeks ago, but the older two still have a week of summer. I’m going to need some prayers to get everyone up, dressed, fed, and out the door on time. I’m notoriously late and not a morning person as it is.
Fitting back into my pre-pregnancy clothes took a bit longer than before, but it finally happened. When I’m at home, you’ll still find me in yoga pants and a t-shirt, hair pulled up, and probably smelling like spit-up (thanks, Cora). Finding the time between a toddler’s nap, a baby nursing, life with four kiddos, and my photographer’s (aka my husband’s) work schedule to shoot photos is challenging.
I used to do all of my blogging at night, after the kids were in bed. Now, all I can think about by that time is getting myself into bed. Cracking open my computer is sporadic, brief, and interrupted (a lot). Getting a post done is a matter of days now, rather than hours. My intentions are strong, but reality is limiting. All that to say, I’ve missed blogging. It might not happen as frequent as I want, but I’ll be posting when I can while savoring this time with my baby girl.
