Basic tops, with details that makes them not so basic, are some of my favorites! When I saw the details of the sleeves and waist on this blouse, I loved it. This color of green is one I’m always drawn to, but it’s also available in three other color ways. It is sheer and I’m wearing a nude cami underneath. I added a pop of leopard with this clutch for an extra bit of interest. This look would be great for date night or a girls night out.
As I was cooking dinner last night, I had four pots on the stove, with something cooking, all at once. I found myself looking at them trying to decide which ones needed to be stirred, which ones needed the heat turned up or down, and making sure nothing boiled over. I literally stood there for a second and thought, “This is a pretty good analogy of my life right now.”
Aside from any other thing I have, need, or want to do in a day, I have four little ones who are always needing my time, attention, or help. I feel like I bounce around all day with two minutes here, five minutes there, or answering little questions. It’s a busy phase of life and I never make it to bed early, like I wake up every morning promising myself I’ll do.
I am so thankful for these four little ones who keep me busy, laughing, loving, and smiling. We have bad days, not doubt. Days when the toddler makes me feel like I’ve living in melt-down city, the older ones don’t listen or cry over homework, or the baby spits up like crazy and needs extra help staying asleep for naps. The days can be long and not every day goes as planned, but I feel so blessed to have these four little ones to love.
I hope you get to enjoy something that you’re thankful for today and count your blessings. Thanks for reading!
