Sweater: Target | Denim: Current Elliott | Booties: Vince Camuto (on sale!) | Handbag: Givenchy / similar | Sunglasses: Target
I love black and tan color combos during the fall and winter months. An animal print is always fun to wear and this sweater is super comfy. The pullover version of the sweater is not available online, so I’m linking the cardigan version. Check your local Target to see if you can find the pullover version, if you prefer that.
North Texas weather is crazy and another brisk cold front has moved through. Apparently the mice don’t like it any more than I do, but prefer being inside my house instead. By entering through our fireplace.
Our indoor fireplace backs up to our outdoor fireplace, but I’m not sure if they are somehow connected. There is a vent on our indoor fireplace that doesn’t close. I have seen several, yes…several, mice enter through that space this week. I would see one scurry down in the blink of an eye and then hurry back up and into the vent. Thankfully, since I had seen their entry point, I had my husband set a trap between the fireplace and the fireplace screen to stop them from getting any further into my house.
I was relieved when we had caught not one, but two mice and thought that would be the end of it. Wrong! We have caught FIVE mice on traps this week and I cannot handle that. I told my husband that if I see one more mouse in this house, dead or alive, I’m outta here until he resolves the issue. Just kidding… kinda. At this point, I feel like we are just baiting them with all the traps. I think my husband feels like it’s a game.
For now, there is a towel stuffed up in the vent (and we won’t be using our fireplace) until we can figure out how to keep mice OUT!
Hope you have a wonderful weekend and stay warm! Thanks for reading and sharing with your friends.
